24-7 dispensed prescription collection service
Please use the NHS App to order your medication and collect it anytime from the Medpoint collection point outside the Leybourne pharmacy. If you cannot order through NHS app, Leybourne Pharmacy can produce a repeat form for you to take to the surgery or you can go to the surgery online ordering system if the surgery has one.
What is MedPoint?
MedPoint is the only British-made automated prescription collection solution that provides patients with a safe, quick, and secure way to collect dispensed prescriptions 24 hours a day 7 days a week (excludes Fridge Lines, certain controlled drugs(morphine based, Methadone etc), bulky items).
Patients will get a text message with pin number if previously declared exempt from paying at the pharmacy (patients are responsible for updating the pharmacy of exemption or payment changes to avoid fines from the NHS).
If paying, patients will get a link to either declare exemption or payment link. Once the payment is made, another text message with the PIN number is sent. Use this to access dispensed prescriptions.

How Does MedPoint work
- Sign up to the service.
- Order prescription via the NHS app or take repeat form to the surgery.
- Wait for a text message or email that the prescription is ready if exempt. ( give 24- 72 working hours for most prescriptions subject to stock availability)
- Pay or declare exemption and receive text message/email with PIN.
- Press any key on Medpoint and then enter your PIN to collect the medications.
